Lil Kesh whose full name is “Keshinro Ololade” joined YBNL in the year 2013 and dropped his first ever singles the following year which was titled lyrically then Shoki.
He released lyrically a single that earned him recognitions around the Nigerian Universities and also earned him a Nomination in the Best New Act to Watch category at the 2015 Nigeria Entertainment Awards.
The other song Shoki earned him several airplays and made him artist to watch out for in that year, it also earned him a remix with DMW Boss Davido.
This single Shoki also got a version from the female acts like Chidinma, Cynthia Morgan and Eva Alordiah.
Shoki became a slang in Nigeria that year on the street in which young boys and girls started dancing to the single because this new single was accompanied by a Dance Step.
The single Shoki earned this Olamide Protégé numerous Nominations and Awards in the year 2015 alone he was nominated for 2016 Nigerian Entertainment Awards, Nigerian Teen Choice Awards and City People Entertainment Awards, he won the latter Awards.
He was criticized for this single by the Nigerian Broadcasting Commission (NBC) for using Vulgar words in the song which stopped the song from airing for a while.
Lil Kesh who is an Indigenous Rapper did not make this put him down instead he dropped his album titled Y.A.G.I (Young And Getting It), this album dropped after his singles like Efejoku, Gbese and Is It Because I Love You featuring Patoranking made waves in the Nigerian Music Industry.
Lil Kesh was the artist people talks about that he is the next to Olamide in the Indigenous rap game in the country, this album earned him a nomination for the 2015 Edition of Headies which held in the year 2016. He lost the Award of Next Rated to Reekado Banks the Mavin act, everyone taught Lil Kesh would win the Award that faithful night and it even lead to YBNL Boss Olamide and Mavin Boss Don Jazzy fight.

What happened that night at The Headies Awards did not stop Lil Kesh from having the love of Nigeiran Music Lovers.
He decided to sign a management deal under YBNL and with this deal he dropped another hit single titled “Shele Gan Gan” under Y.A.G.I and YBNL, this Krizbeatz produced song showed why the rapper is still referred to as one of the best.

He left YBNL in the year 2017 to start his own Record Label, since starting his own label he has dropped several singles but it can never be compared to when his was still under his former boss.
Lil Kesh dropped singles like Apami which did not get much recognitions like that Lil Kesh used to drop under his former label, recently he dropped Again O which was supposed to be another come back single from the Rapper.
This new single Again O did not get much recognition at all, Lil Kesh has lost his ground in the Nigerian music industry since starting his own label.
